Imagine It & Math Student Log on information
The Pioneer Living Program came to Jefferson today! This is a travelling hands-on museum that provides students with the pioneer living experience. There were 6 different learning centers with historical displays and hands-on stations. Students had the chance to participate in panning for gold, rolling dough, using a colonial washer and playing with handmade wooden folk toys from crafts people all across America. Our students had an enjoyable experience.
At Jefferson School our mission and commitment is to provide the best educational program possible for our students. We are dedicated to ensuring that our school provides a welcoming, safe, stimulating environment where students are actively involved in learning academics, as well as, positive values and self discipline. We are committed to building a team effort among families, staff, district, and the community to assist all students in developing skills to become independent, self-sufficient, successful adults who will contribute responsibly in the community. Jefferson School embraces a vision of excellence, and a commitment to every learner. Our role as educators is to empower every child with a solid educational foundation, serving as a key to open the doors of opportunity and future possibilities. Through a rigorous curriculum, collaboration, and trust within the school community, we at Jefferson are committed to ensuring that all learners will not only meet, but exceed grade level standards.

Jefferson School API
Ms. Ostensen made a deal with Jefferson students in 2013 that if they could achieve a score of 800 API points on the STAR exam she would agree to be slimed. Our students, staff, and parents were determined to achieve the goal and the hard work paid off. Jefferson scored a proud 801 and Ms. Ostensen was slimed on Halloween in front of everyone. Way to go Eagles!
